Finance Minister received Johnson

Finance Minister Yassin Jaber received in his office in the ministry the US Ambassador Lisa Johnson on a congratulations on his assumption of the Ministry of Finance, and a review of the general situation in the country in light of the election phase of the president and the formation of a new government.

During the meeting, Minister Jaber reviewed the reform program that the government is working to develop, as well as the Ministry of Finance program, which, along with reform plans, gave preliminary to achieve programs with the International Monetary Fund to move in the primary trend towards strengthening institutions in Lebanon.
Minister Jaber met a delegation from the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait, which included General Manager Abdullah Fahd and the head of the administrative apparatus Karim Adel Darwish in the presence of the President of the Financial Institute (Basil Falihan) and a representative of the Minister of Finance at the Board of Trustees of the Institute Lamia Mobayed.
Abdullah stressed the institute’s willingness to provide all assistance to Lebanon, especially in the fields of guidance and training, putting the capabilities of the institute in serving the Ministry of Finance in this field.
