To settle Trump’s invitation .. "X" Agree to pay 10 million dollars

The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that the X -owned X platform of Elon Musk agreed to pay about 10 million dollars to settle a lawsuit filed by US President Donald Trump against the company and its former CEO.

This makes X the second social communication platform to reach a settlement with Trump on stopping his accounts after his supporters stormed the Capitol building in January 2021.

The company, “Mita Platforms”, said last month that it had agreed to pay about $ 25 million to settle a lawsuit filed by Trump.

Trump filed lawsuits against Twitter, currently known as X, Facebook and Alabet, as well as its executives at the time in July 2021, and accused them of silencing conservative opinions in violation of the law.

The newspaper stated, quoting people familiar with the matter, that the Trump team tried to gradually drop the lawsuit against X, given the close relationship between the President and Misk, who contributed $ 250 million to the Trump election campaign, but with a move towards the settlement.

Musk, who heads Tesla Company, is leading the Ministry of Government efficiency, the new arm of the White House charged with radically reducing the federal bureaucracy.

According to the newspaper, Trump’s lawyers are expected to seek a settlement with Google, who banned Trump from YouTube after the riots in the Capitol in 2021. (Sky News)
