"Skewed"What will the House of Representatives be seen?

After a long wait, the roads are scheduled to open towards Al -Najma Square in central Beirut, by a decision of the Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri.

Iron and cement obstacles that prevented citizens from reaching there made downtown Beirut closed in front of the vehicles, but the step that will take place will return life to that special area in the Lebanese capital.

Not the first step

In fact, the decision to remove these obstacles is not new, as it has been repeated previously and more than once. For example, specifically in 2018, Berri ordered the removal of obstacles and barriers from the vicinity of Al -Najma Square, but the events in 2019 during the outbreak of the October 17 revolution contributed to the re -placement of iron and concrete obstacles.

After several demonstrations, another order was issued to remove the concrete walls that were built at some entrances to the House of Representatives, but most of the corridors were kept closed and closed.

In conjunction with Berri’s recent decision announced today, Wednesday, a similar step was taken to remove obstacles off the house of former Interior Minister Bassam Al -Mawlawi in Tripoli.

Also, last month, Acting Governor of Lebanon, Wassim Mansouri, decided to remove barriers and obstacles in front of the Bank of Lebanon in Hamra to open it to citizens.
