Paul Morcos inspects the cheerful news cycle

The Ministry of Information, in cooperation with “UNESCO” and the World Organization of Francophone, organized a training course on false news, at the Training Center at the “National Information Agency”, which lasted for three days, and aims to train the agency’s representatives to verify false news.

The course inspected the Minister of Information, Dr. Paul Morcos, in the presence of the UNESCO Media and Communication official, George Awad, and the director of the agency, Ziad Harfoush.

Minister Morcos requested that “see the results of the course upon its end, in addition to the necessary proposals to obtain better results on the issue of verifying false news,” hoping that “this matter will be through an official book.”

He explained that “he is studying all topics related to the Ministry of Information and Information in general,” considering that “whoever does not see all the details may make hasty decisions.”

He said: “I will tell and study the topics correctly, in order to take its path,” noting that “development may take some time”, and expressed his willingness to “listen to all the proposals.” (National Media Agency)
