In Baabda .. Aoun Research with Diab Challenges and the next stage

The President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, continued, this afternoon at the Baabda Palace, his meetings with the former heads of government in the context of consulting with them in the current developments and the prospects of the next stage.

In this context, he met, at three thirty in the afternoon, former Prime Minister Hassan Diab, and the meeting was an occasion to conduct a horizon tour that dealt with public conditions in various aspects.

After the meeting, President Diab spoke to the journalists and said: “We reviewed with His Excellency the President of the new stage in Lebanon, and we congratulated him on the formation of the new government.”

He added: “We comment great hopes for the success of this government in its confrontation with all challenges, and we wish all the best for the government and its president. During the meeting, we also touched on the issue of the full Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon on February 18.
