"Radical change".. Israel reveals a different reality after eliminating "Hezbollah"

The Israeli army spokesman, Avichai Adraei, quoted the commander of the northern region, Uri Gordin as saying that the security reality “has radically changed the capabilities of gathering information with Hezbollah very severely, and I confirm that the reality today is completely different.”

He pointed out that the leadership of Hezbollah in Syria was eliminated, “where the axis between Iran and Lebanon was completely cut off,” and therefore Hezbollah’s ability to armament and rebuild itself was greatly damaged as well.

He considered that the serious threat that Hezbollah posed to the North and the entire Israel “was eliminated.”

But he added that: “It does not mean that there is no longer an enemy, or that Hezbollah has ended, but this serious threat has been removed. The security reality in the north is safe, and the biggest challenge we face is to keep it in the future. ”

He pointed out that Hezbollah’s postponement of the funeral of its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, happened because they were “afraid of us and therefore they did not hold the funeral soon.” (Free)
