Chinese President: There is no winner in a trade war with the United States

Trump launched a commercial war with China during his first term, criticizing, especially what he said was theft of intellectual ownership and other “unfair practices”.

He pledged to impose higher customs duties on China after its inauguration next month as President.

“The wars of customs duties, commercial wars and technological wars are inconsistent with historical tendencies and economic rules and will not lead to any winner,” said XTV..

He also pointed out that “China is ready to maintain dialogue with the US government, expand cooperation, manage differences, and enhance the development of Chinese-American relations in a stable, healthy and sustainable direction”.
