The King of Jordan begins his visit to the United States and an upcoming meeting with Trump



















The Jordan News Agency reported that King Abdullah II started today a working visit to the United States, and is scheduled to meet in Washington tomorrow, Tuesday, US President Donald Trump.

The Jordanian News Agency stated that “the King is scheduled to meet the Foreign Minister Marco Rubio, National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, the Special Envoy of the American President of the Middle East Stephen Witkeov, and members of committees in the Senate and House of Representatives.”

She added: “The King of Jordan in Boston will meet with representatives of American companies and institutions, and the Massachusetts Morea state, tomorrow, Monday, which are postponed meetings since last December, which prevented the prevailing weather conditions at the time without holding it.”

She also confirmed that “the king met today with the US Defense Minister, Beit Higseth.”

The visit comes within the framework of Jordan’s diplomatic efforts to confirm the Kingdom’s refusal to displace the Palestinians from their land.
