The experience of the nuclear agreement has proven that Washington did not adhere to its pledges

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqji confirmed today, Saturday, that the experience of the nuclear agreement has proven the United States’ lack of commitment to its pledges, stressing that Tehran will not allow the repetition of the covenant.

He added: “We will not abandon negotiation, but we do not want it with a country that signs new sanctions,” explaining that “to confront the sanctions, we must work on two tasks, to remove and neutralize them and the last priority for us.”

For his part, the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said on Friday that the experiment has proven that holding talks with the United States is a step “not smart, wise or honorable.”

Khamenei explained that negotiating with Washington will not affect the solution to the problems in Iran, adding, “We made generous concessions in the nuclear agreement, but the Americans did not abide by it and canceled President Donald Trump.”

The US Treasury announced the day before yesterday, Thursday, the imposition of sanctions targeting an international network that facilitates the transportation of millions of Iranian crude oil barrels of hundreds of million dollars to China.

In turn, Iran condemned these sanctions, describing the measures targeting Iranian entities accused of selling crude oil to China as illegal and unjustified. (Russia today)
