Officially .. forming a new government for Lebanon and these are the names of the ministers

The Secretary -General of the Council of Ministers, Mahmoud Makiya, announced today, Saturday, the issuance of a decree forming a new government for Lebanon, headed by Judge Nawaf Salam and composed by 24 ministers.

The government was dissolved after the Fifth Shiite Minister’s knot that obstructed the formation during the past few days, and Fadi Makki was agreed to take over the portfolio of the Ministry of State for Administrative Development Affairs.

Prior to the government, a tripartite meeting was held between the President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, President Salam and Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri.

When he left the meeting, Berri said the journalists said: Barakat Mar Maroun.

3 decrees are released

After the meeting, President Aoun signed a decree accepting the resignation of the government

From Baabda Palace, the Secretary -General of the Council of Ministers announced the issuance of the 3 aforementioned decrees.

The current government is the 78th since independence and will be the 21st government after the signing of the Taif Agreement in 1989.

The names of the new ministers

The new government will consist of women and the following masters whose names are:

1- Nawaf Salam- Prime Minister

2- Deputy Prime Minister: Tariq Mitri

3- Foreign Minister: Youssef Raji

4- Defense Minister: Michel Mansi

5- Minister of the Interior: Ahmed Al-Hajjar

6- Minister of Finance: Yassin Jaber

7- The Minister of Energy: Joe Siddiq

8- Minister of Education: Rima Karami

9- Minister of Culture: Ghassan Salama

10- Minister of Social Affairs: Hanin Al-Sayed

11- Minister of Environment: Tamara Al-Zain

12- Minister of Works: Fayez Rasamni

13- Minister of Agriculture: Nizar Hani

14- Minister of Health: Rakan Nasser Al-Din

15- Minister of Labor: Muhammad Haider

16- Minister of Communications: Charles Al-Hajj

17- Minister of Tourism: Laura Lahoud

18- The Minister of Information: Paul Morcos

19- Minister of Youth and Sports: Christina Babakian

20- Minister of Economy: Amer Al-Bassat

23- Minister of Youth and Sports: Laura Bayraq Qadriyan

24- Joe Issa El-Khoury: Minister of Industry

25- The Minister of Displacement and Minister of State for Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence: Kamal Shehadeh
