Decisions to enhance financial sustainability and develop the profession

The Persons of Accounting Experts in Lebanon held its public association in the presence of a large number of experts, as a series of important decisions were taken to enhance the professional and social conditions of its members.

The most prominent decisions approved: Approval of the union’s budget and its devices for the year 2025, re -activating life insurance coverage with a value of up to 75 thousand US dollars, provided that members are committed to pay their annual subscriptions within the legal deadline, and the approval of a pension of $ 600 of US dollars starting from the seventh month of the year present.

In his speech, Captain Eli Abboud welcomed the attendees, noting that this general assembly formed a basic step towards achieving the financial sustainability of the retirement fund, by securing sustainable income sources, ensuring the minimum appropriate to retirees pensions and providing comprehensive hospital coverage for them.

Abboud also affirmed the union’s commitment to keep pace with the emerging developments in the accounting profession, and to enhance the professional protection of members, in addition to its active role at the national level, especially in drawing financial, tax and monetary policies.
