French tour to wish the beautiful


The head of the Bashir Gemayel Foundation, Yamna Bashir Al -Gemayel Zakar, toured France, interspersed with several activities to enhance cultural and social ties between Lebanon and France and commemorate the martyr President Bashir Gemayel.

In the city of Mawasak, the mayor, Roman Lopez, and the region’s deputy region, received it, where the current situation in Lebanon discussed with them. She also participated in placing a wreath of the blossom on the tomb of the French paratroopers, Philipp Shapra, who was martyred in Beirut in December 1983, in the presence of Colonel Bonchasa and General Rodiak.


In the Monastery of St. Mary de la Garde, Gemayel met with the Benedict monks and their friends, as she talked about the leadership legacy of the martyr President Bashir Gemayel and his national thought. She also visited the French paratroopers who survived the Drakar bombing in 1983.

She concluded her tour in Carkason, where she met the graduates of Mar Youssef Al -Karam School, who called Bashir Al -Gemayel on their graduation course for 2024, in appreciation of his idea and vision. It was accompanied by the founder of the Christian Solidarity Association, Mr. Yan Bali.

This tour reflects the keenness of the Bashir Gemayel Foundation to maintain the memory of the martyr president alive and enhance relations with the French society that is participating in Lebanon in a history of joint solidarity.
