In this context, the Minister of Tourism said: The ministry will be headed by a person who will complete all the sustainable projects that started in the three years of my presence at the head of the ministry. The President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, is keen on the projects that we have carried out with the support of the private sector and were developed, provided that they are sustainable for the future.

He added: We will submit to the new minister a report on the projects that were implemented, the most important of which are at the national, international and Arab levels, tourism administrative decentralization and Lebanon’s relations with Arab and international organizations for tourism, as we witnessed in the past three years a permanent activity of the Ministry of Tourism.

The nomination of Lebanon announced next Monday in Doha, to the center of the deputy head of the regional office of the World Tourism Organization, to be Lebanon at the top of the Arab countries in the tourism sector.

He stressed the importance of tourism decentralization, and he said: The ministry opened 38 offices on all Lebanese lands despite the difficult circumstances, in partnership with the Union of Municipalities, Municipalities and Private Societies and yellow dollars, and our goal is to reach 44 offices.

He added: We created in the Ministry of Tourism the unified window so that all these centers are linked to the main center, and all the licenses, administrative transactions and benefits for each citizen become present in Jbeil, which saves him the trouble of going to the ministry to obtain his treatment, in addition to the facilities provided to the tourist.

He continued: Since we received the Ministry to this day, we have made 1644 activities and we will not stop until the last day of our presence in the ministry because this is what the national duty imposes on us, and when the new minister receives, we will inform you of the number of activities that we have done. And the new minister will know very well that he has a fixed rule that financial credits are not the way to be a producer, and on the contrary, when there is a lack of financial this, the official pays the work more and comes out with new ideas through which he persuades the private sector and obtains his confidence and works to develop them.

He concluded: Hand in hand, we have to return the city of Jbeil, the pearl of the Middle East, and put it in the global ranks tourist and economically.
