The disappearance of a passenger plane over Alaska!

The “Cessna Grand Caravan” plane has disappeared near the city of Numi in Alaska, while reports indicated that it might fall and 10 people on board.

The plane, owned by “Bering Air”, was on a flight from Onalalite to Nomi when it lost the call. The company manager David Olson confirmed that the trip took off from Onalalite, while the last signal of the plane was recorded on the Norton Strait, according to the data of “Flightradar”.

Alaska state soldiers reported that the plane was carrying nine passengers and one pilot. The Alaska Rescue Coordination Center was informed of the disappearance of the plane.

Search teams face major challenges due to bad weather conditions, including snowstorms and poor visibility, which hinders air searches. Rescue teams conduct active searches on the ground using ice machines and other vehicles.

The Volunteer Fire Department in Numi indicated that the Coast Guard is examining the area, while the US Air Force provided air support from the Elysdorf base. The administration appealed to the families to request support from the Norton Sound Foundation, warning against the formation of individual research groups due to the dangerous conditions.
