Katz is considering allowing the residents of Gaza to travel through Israel

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz held high security talks, on Thursday, regarding the possibility of allowing the residents of Gaza to travel through Israel, in harmony with the plan announced by US President Donald Trump recently.

Israeli officials said that the Katz proposal allows the residents of Gaza to leave the Gaza Strip to other countries, through Ramon Airport in southern Israel, and Ashdod port on the Mediterranean.

According to the Israeli newspaper “Yediot Aharonot”, the meeting, which was attended by senior army leaders, focused on “voluntary immigration options for the residents of Gaza.”
