Trump signed a decree to impose penalties on the international criminal

US President Donald Trump signed a decree on Thursday to impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court, a senior US official said without giving details about his content.
Monitoring targets personal funds and visas of individuals associated with measures launched by the International Criminal Court, especially the arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was received by Trump on Tuesday at the White House.

The move comes after the US Senate Democrats obstructed last week efforts led by Republicans to punish the International Criminal Court in protest against the two arrest warrants issued against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Secretary Yoav Gallant because of the Israeli military operation in Gaza.

The International Criminal Court has not received a request for comment yet.
