Violent clashes erupted on the Lebanese -Syrian border between members of the Headquarters for the Liberation of Al -Sham and clans from the Zuaiter family and the Jaafar family in the border town of Hawik, which is inhabited by Lebanese. Later, a shell landed in the neighboring Lebanese town of Al -Qasr, wounding a Lebanese citizen.

The sources also reported that the battles resulted in military equipment in the hands of clans during the confrontations, while the people managed to capture two members of the Headquarters for the Liberation of Al -Sham in the town of Hawik.
