UNRWA needs more support to continue its work in Lebanon

Today, the Palestinian Ambassador Ashraf Dabour received the Commissioner of the Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees UNRWA Philip Lazarini, in the presence of the Director of the Agency Affairs in Lebanon, Dorothy Klaus.

Lazarini stressed that UNRWA continues to provide basic services to Palestine refugees, who are considered among the poorest societies, and to ensure their access to education and health care.

He added: The agency needs more support more than ever to continue its work in Lebanon in order to find a solution to the nomination of Palestine refugees.

In turn, Dabour stressed the urgent necessity in addressing the issues concerning our Palestinian refugee people in Lebanon, and what is related to the employees of UNRWA as a basic part of the life and living conditions of our people.
