The United States will control Gaza

US President Donald Trump announced that the United States “will take control and possess the Gaza Strip”, after his insistence on implementing his proposal to displace the Palestinians from it.

“The United States will take control of the Gaza Strip and we will work there as well,” Trump said at a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We will own it. We will be responsible for the dismantling of all unexploded bombs and other dangerous weapons on this site. ”

He added: “We will settle the site on the ground and find economic development.”

He considered that “the only reason for the desire of Gaza residents to return is that they have no alternative.”

He pledged to work to “provide job opportunities and housing for the residents of the region.”

Trump had repeatedly talking about his proposal to resettle the inhabitants of Gaza permanently outside the war sector.

These statements came on Tuesday evening at the beginning of his meeting with Netanyahu at the White House.

He said: “I do not think that (these) people should return. You cannot live in Gaza now. I think we need another site. I think this site should be a place that will make people happy. ”

Trump’s comments came at a time when he and his adult advisers believed that the schedule of 3 to 5 years to rebuild the destroyed area due to the war, as shown in the temporary armistice agreement, is not implemented.

He added: “If you look throughout the decades, you will find that everything that happens in Gaza is death. This has happened for years. The whole thing is death. If we can find a beautiful area to resettle people permanently, in beautiful houses where they can be happy, not be killed and do not stab up to death as it happens in Gaza, it will be good. ”
