The King of Jordan, Abdullah II, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, discussed on Tuesday ways to establish a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, as well as developments in Syria and Lebanon.
This came during a phone call that Sisi received from the King of Jordan, according to two official sources.

The Jordanian Royal Court said in a statement, that the two sides confirmed “the constant coordination of close coordination regarding developments in the region, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue.”
They found their assertion on “supporting the Palestinian brothers in obtaining their legitimate rights, and the establishment of their sovereign independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, on the basis of a two -state solution (Palestinian and Israeli).”
They stressed “the need to intensify Arab and international efforts to confirm the ceasefire in Gaza, as it is the first step to calm in the region.”
In the context, the Egyptian presidency said in a statement that Sisi and the King of Jordan discussed “developments in the regional situation, especially with regard to implementing the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.”
The two leaders called for “the complete implementation of the agreement and the imperative of the speedy reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.”
