The government formation path reflects the crisis of the Lebanese regime

A member of the “Strong Republic” bloc, MP Elias Stephen, said that “the path of forming government reflects the crisis of the Lebanese regime in the face of change, as it is dealt with with entitlement according to the logic ”.

Stephen added on the “X” platform: “When the formation is reduced with bargains, the approach of hegemony is devoted, and when a political reality is imposed on everyone except for its imposition, talking about a government that is capable of reform becomes just an illusion. Overing the principle of the unit of standards is not just a technical defect, but rather an affirmation that the authority is still managed according to the logic of sharing influence, not according to the logic of rebuilding the state on the basis of sovereignty, justice and efficiency. The most dangerous is that this path does not coincide with the department’s speech to the President of the Republic, which is supposed to be a road map to rebuild institutions and restore the state from the logic of settlements to the logic of sovereignty and reform. ”

He continued: “If the authorship is not an entrance to correct the political path, it will be just another station in the course of collapse.”
