On Monday, the Russian Foreign Ministry called on the “Hamas” movement, “Al -Wafa”, to promise the release of a Russian citizen who kidnapped it during the October 7, 2023 attack.

The ministry said in a press statement that “Deputy Minister Mikhail Bogdanov urged during a meeting in Moscow with a member of the political bureau of Hamas, Musa Abu Marzouk, to release the Russian citizen A. Truvanov.

She pointed out that “Moscow stressed once again the need to fulfill the promise made by the Hamas leadership regarding the release of Truvanov and others held hostages in the Gaza Strip.”

Truvanov is a Russian citizen who was kidnapped with his mother, his grandmother and his girlfriend, while his father was killed during the attack by Hamas on Israel in October 2023. (Al -Hurra)
