The ceasefire will not drop the Netanyahu government

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid confirmed that the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not fall due to the continued ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which allows the restoration of more hostages.

“Netanyahu has a political safety network from the opposition to support the agreement, in all its stages.”

He added: “The agreement has overwhelming support from the people of Israel, and it also enjoys overwhelming support from the Israeli Knesset.”
