On 2-2-2025, and in the Al-Marjat locality, an unknown was shot at the car of Father Eli Joseph Beshaalni and hit her with several shots, and fled to an unknown destination.

Immediately, the specialized pieces of the Internal Security Forces began their field and media procedures to determine the identity and arrest of the perpetrator. As a result of intense surveys and investigations, the Information Division reached within hours to determine his identity, called:

On the same date, after a careful follow -up, one of the division patrols was able to determine his place of residence in the town of Ber Elias, where she worked to arrest him at less than/ 12/ hour and seized a four -wheel drive vehicle “Cherokee” used in the shooting process.

By investigating, he admitted that during his move from Beirut to the Bekaa and upon his arrival in Bhamdoun, he was crossed by a white “Hyundai” car in a way that he considered provocative to him, so he attached to it to the Al -Marjat locality, where it stopped.

With his arrival at his home and his being in a state of sugar, he brought a Kalashnikov weapon and returned to the Marsat place where the car stopped and shot him and left to his home. He stated that there are no other reasons for what he did, and that he was under the influence of alcohol. It also turned out that he is taking drugs.

The legal requirement was made against it, and the competent authority was deposited based on the judiciary.
