On Monday, US President Donald Trump signed a new set of executive orders, and talked about some thorny files related to China, Panama, Canada and Mexico in addition to the war file in Gaza.

Regarding the Gaza file, Trump stated that there are no “guarantees” on the steadfastness of the armistice in the Gaza Strip, adding: “I do not know if peace will continue in the Gaza Strip.”

On Ukraine, Trump explained that he wanted to negotiate with Kiev on a “agreement” in which its rare minerals are offered, which are raw materials widely used in electronics, “guarantee” in exchange for obtaining American aid.

He added: “We have made great progress between Russia and Ukraine and we will stop this ridiculous war … and we will work to resolve conflicts.”

The American President also spoke about Panama by saying that he is seeking to reach a good agreement with her, highlighting, “I am not happy with the Panama channel, but they agreed to some changes and I will have contacts with them at the end of the week.”

Regarding Mexico, he said: “Mexico will deploy thousands of soldiers on its borders with the United States to stop illegal immigration, we work with Mexico to stop illegal immigration across the border.”

He continued: “I made a good contact with the Canadian Prime Minister, we will not allow Canada to exploit the United States,” stressing that “Canada will be the state 51”.
