Lebanon today »in Syria .. torture and killing three detainees belonging to the Assad regime

In a statement on Monday, the Syrian Network for Human Rights condemned the torture and killing of three detainees with the General Security Department of the Transitional Government in Syria.

She called for “holding those involved and compensating the families of the victims”, revealing that “all of them are from Homs Governorate.”

Late last January, the security forces arrested citizen Mohamed Louay Tayara on charges of his previous affiliation with the National Defense Forces of the former regime.

A pilgrim was taken to a detention headquarters that previously affiliated with the Baath Party in Homs, according to the network statement, and after one day his family received a notification stating that he died.

His mother, who received his body from the “Al -Waleed” hospital in the city, said that “he seemed to have severe torture on his body.”

According to the certificates collected by the network, he was a good healthy plane at the time of his detention, which enhances the hypothesis of his death as a result of torture and the neglect of medical care.

Public Security issued a statement after his death, saying that the arrest of a pilgrim was due to a lawsuit from the prosecution not to settle his legal status and possess unauthorized weapons.

And announced through the official Syrian News Agency (SANA) that an investigation was opened under the supervision of the Public Prosecution and the arrest of those involved in his death.

“14 years of continuous effort, strict methodology, documents and certificates of defected officers” on the security services in the Bashar al -Assad regime, led to the arrival of the Syrian Network for Human Rights, to a list of more than 16 thousand involved in crimes and human rights violations committed in various parts of Syria, according to the director of the network, Fadl Abdul Ghani.

On January 30, the family of the twenty -year -old Radwan Hussein received his body, after a five -day detention.

Radwan was arrested in a security campaign to pursue Assad’s elements, as he was a volunteer at the Military Security Branch in the city of Homs.

His family assured the Syrian network that on top of him is a gunshot mark with signs of torture.

As for the third, it is Badr Muhyi Saqour, who was arrested on January 22. His family took over the body last Saturday, and he had traces of torture and firing.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights called for the opening of an “independent and lips” investigation to stand at the circumstances of the aforementioned crimes, and to hold all those involved in them accountable, from the orders of the commanders to the direct perpetrators.

The transitional government also called for the Syrian society to inform the results of the investigations, and to ensure that the perpetrators do not escape punishment.
