The American authorities said on Sunday that they had found the remains of 55 out of 67 people who died in the most huge air disaster in the United States since 2001.

“The ghosts still need to find the bodies of 12 other victims, and they are committed to recovering the remains in a generous way while preparing to lift the debris from the Botomac River early Monday morning,” said the head of the Fire Department and Medical Emergency Services in Washington.

Colonel Francis B. Beira, from the US Army’s engineers, that “returning the remains of those who lost in this tragic incident is really what drives us all to continue.”
Bera noted that “parts of the two planes will be loaded on flat trucks and transported to a fold for additional investigations.”

The crossing of all ships with the exception of licensed boats is still prohibited in a large part of the Botomac River.
