The administration of Tel Shiha Hospital in Zahle denied what was circulated on some social media sites about a number of nurses, nurses and employees in the hospital being attacked by a Lebanese army intelligence member.

The administration confirmed in an official statement that the information circulated is incorrect and exaggerated, and that any problem did not occur between the hospital staff and any security authority. The statement stressed that the hospital is keen to secure a safe work environment for its employees, and respects cooperation with various security and military institutions that play a fundamental role in preserving security and stability.


The hospital administration also called on the media to be accurate before publishing any unconfirmed news, and to communicate with the concerned authorities to draw the correct information, in order to avoid spreading rumors that may harm the reputation of medical institutions and their workers.
