With deep shock and pain, the author of the Patriarch Minassian condemns the hideous crime that claimed the life of Father Archimandrite Kojanian, considering it a flagrant attack not only on his person, but also on the essence of the values ​​on which the Church and the message of Christian faith are based, and the principles of love and tolerance that constitute the pillar of human society. This cowardly act will not pass without a response, nor will it be a passing incident folded in the crime record, but will remain a wound in the conscience of humanity until justice is achieved and the actors are held accountable without negligence or leniency.

He continued: In this painful affliction, Patriarch Minassian raises his sincere condolences to the Armenian Orthodox Church, headed by His Holiness Catholicus Aram I Keschyan, and to all the sons of the Armenian community in Zahle, Ajjar, Lebanon and the world. The loss of Archimandrite Kojanian is not just a personal loss. Rather, it is the absence of a voice that carried in his life a message of faith and service, and it was a luminous flame in the way of love and dialogue, and a symbol of deep commitment to the values ​​of the church and its teachings.

Minassian concluded: In these difficult moments, we invite the children of the church to join hands and steadfastness in faith, and not to allow the forces of evil and fear to infiltrate the hearts. Our church will remain entrenched on its rock, and it will remain a witness to the light of Christ that is not extinguished, no matter how much the darkness of the enemies.
