The President of the Lebanese University, Bassam Badran, issued a statement in which he clarified the issue related to words attributed to the president in charge of Nawaf Salam, that he prefers graduates of the American University or European universities exclusively for their name in the new government.

In his statement, Badran stated that, based on what was circulated, and in order to clarify the issue and remove any confusion in front of the Lebanese public opinion in general and the university’s people in particular, he initiated peace to explain the truth of what is being published.

Badran revealed that Salam was assertive and firmly denied what was transmitted, stressing his full support for the Lebanese University, his pride and pride in the active and pioneering role of university graduates who took over the highest leadership sites in Lebanon and the countries of alienation and in all scientific, economic, medical, judicial, media and humanitarian forums.

According to Badran, Salam confirmed that he is also A graduate of the Lebanese University, and this is a cause of pride and pride.
