The UAE topped the list of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in the cost of living for the year 2025, followed by Bahrain, then Qatar, and after them Saudi Arabia and Kuwait came, and finally the Sultanate of Oman.

The UAE ranked first in the Gulf and Arab, and the 30th rank globally in the index, with a rate of 54.1 points.

The annual index depends on 5 universal standards, to assess the cost of living rates in each country, including the average rental rates, and the average cost of living with the cost of rents.

In the following list, we monitor the classification of the Gulf countries in the cost of living for the year 2025:

1- Emirates

– The first Gulf – the first in the Arab world – 30 globally, at a rate of 63 points

2- Bahrain

– The second Gulf – 3 Arabs – 38 globally, at a rate of 48.3 points

3- Qatar

– The third Gulf – 4 Arabs – 40 globally, at a rate of 47.5 points

4- Saudi Arabia

Fourth Gulf – Fifth in the Arab world – 56 globally, at a rate of 41.9 points

5- Kuwait

Fifth Gulf – 6 Arabs – 60 globally, at a rate of 40.4 points

6- Oman

Sixth Gulf – 7 Arabs – 62 globally, at a rate of 39.8 points

The highest cost countries in the global living:

1- Switzerland

2- The American Virgin Islands

3- Iceland

4- Al-Baham Islands

5- Singapore

The lowest global countries:

1- Pakistan

2- Libya

3- Egypt

4- India

5- Afghanistan
