Firefighting officials announced that the Eiton fire, which came on more than 14,000 acres, East Angeles, was contained 100 percent, which is a great symbolic achievement more than 3 weeks after the outbreak of destroyed forest fires on both sides of the city.

The California Forestry and Fire Department said that a larger platform, which came on 23,448 acres, was also contained on the western side of Los Angeles, by 100 percent.

The California Fire Department indicated that the two main fires, in addition to many smaller fires, created the worst natural disaster in the history of Los Angeles province, as they resulted in the death of 28 people and damage or destruction of more than 16,000 buildings.

Officials in Los Angeles Province noted that orders were issued at some point in the fire to evacuate 180,000 people.
