The head of the Suez Canal Authority, Lieutenant -General Osama Rabie, informed AB Muller Merck, the giant shipping company, that there are indications of stability to return to the Red Sea, and urged the company to take this into consideration when setting plans and navigational tables.
A statement by the authority said that Rabie made these comments in a meeting with the CEO of the Denmark Container Shipping Group and other senior executives, but he did not mention when to hold the meeting.
“The positive indicators in the Red Sea region should be taken into account during the development of plans and navigational tables during the coming period.” (Sky News)
