He continued: The Lebanese reality confirms the necessity of submitting to the dialogue table and not using the outside to prevail against the inside, and that Lebanon’s policy does not proceed on the basis of neither victor nor loser, but rather on the basis of Lebanon’s victory with all its components, for the homeland in which the people, the army and the resistance provided the best of their youth for the sake of its sovereignty, independence and freedom. It is not permissible for the blood of the martyrs to be wasted at the hands of sectarian leaders and embassy staff.

The scholar Yassin added in the Friday sermon that he delivered in the religious school mosque in the city of Tyre: The claimant of sovereignty must stop the rhetoric of incitement here and there, and know that the government, with its president and ministers, is not a political party to exclude one party and win another, but rather an executive body to serve the citizen regardless of his sectarian affiliation.
