Hamas is discussing arrangements for the release of prisoners

Hamas announced, on Friday, that the head of the movement in the West Bank, Zaher Jabareen, discussed with the head of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Authority, Qaddoura Fares, the deal for the prisoners and the arrangements for their release and receiving them in a way that suits them.
The movement said, in a statement, that Jabareen, who also heads the Hamas Martyrs and Prisoners’ Office, received Fares, in the presence of the lawyer of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Authority, Khader Shuqirat, the member of the movement’s political bureau, Hossam Badran, and the movement’s leaders, Mahmoud Mardawi and Jasser Barghouti.

She added that the meeting discussed “developments in the deal and the exchange of prisoners, and arrangements for their release and reception, in a manner befitting their sacrifices and the sacrifices of our Palestinian people.”
Hamas pointed out that during the meeting, emphasis was placed on “permanent communication through the joint committees to accomplish this great national celebration, coordinating efforts to serve the issue of prisoners, and removing all obstacles to complete the prisoner exchange deal.”
She noted that those gathered “paid tribute to Gaza and its martyrs, and saluted the steadfastness of our people in Gaza, who had the primary credit for reaching a ceasefire and reaching a prisoner exchange deal.”
While Jabareen confirmed, during the meeting, that “Hamas sought a national exchange deal from all factions and members of our people.”
