Good news from the Bank of Lebanon: $150 for these people

Al-Jadeed TV reported, today, Friday, that the Acting Governor of the Bank of Lebanon, Wassim Mansouri, is studying a decision related to a new circular through which every retiree in the liberal professions will be granted an amount of $150 per month from the Central Bank.

Ali Kammoun, head of the Financial and Economic Studies Council, says that the money will be disbursed from the retirees’ fund, which includes about 447 million dollars, noting that the Central Bank will pay 18 million dollars annually.

Kamoun explained that every citizen who benefits from any other circular of the Bank of Lebanon, such as Circular 158, will not benefit from the amount of $150 that the Central Bank will disburse to retirees.
