About Hezbollah and the government…a striking statement from Berri

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said that the process regarding forming the new government is heading towards a solution, indicating that the Prime Minister-designate, Nawaf Salam, is cooperating. He added: I did not discuss portfolios and names with him, and the form of the government is his mission, and when he presents the names to us, we agree if the person is competent and we reject him if he is not. It wouldn’t be like that even if he were my brother.

In an interview on Al-Jadeed channel, Berri stated that it was not previously accepted to isolate any component in Lebanon, and therefore the isolation of Hezbollah will not be accepted, and this matter is not accepted by anyone, and he added: As long as God is in heaven… Hezbollah is on earth.
