Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri announced to Al-Jadeed that the path is heading towards a solution, and President Nawaf Salam is cooperating and “I did not enter into portfolios and names with him.”

In response to a question about a political party government or a technocrat, Berri said: “The form of the government is the task of the president-designate.”

Regarding the inclusion of the Shiite duo in the government, he said: “When the president-designate presents us with the names, we agree if the person is competent, and we reject him if he is not competent, even if he is my brother.”

He also added: “We did not accept the isolation of any component previously, and we will not accept it today, and no one accepts the isolation of Hezbollah.”

Berri concluded: “As long as it is “in God in heaven… Hezbollah is on earth.”
