Oil prices fell, but they are heading for gains for the fourth week in a row, with increasing expectations of disruption to oil supplies after the United States imposed new sanctions on the Russian energy sector.

Brent crude futures fell by 33 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $80.96 per barrel, and rose by 1.5 percent since the beginning of the week.

US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 22 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $78.46 per barrel, and increased 2.4 percent since the beginning of the week. (Sky News)
