The newspaper “Israel Hayom” quoted an informed, high-level political source as saying that Israel received a green light from both the administration of current President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump to resume fighting if Hamas violates the agreement, rearms, or resumes its activities in Gaza.

The source added that Israel “does not publish information to the public or ministers for fear that publishing it would lead to Hamas’ withdrawal from the agreement.”
