Mufti Hegazy saluted the positions of the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister-designate

In a statement, Mufti Hijazi appreciated the positions of the President of the Lebanese Republic and the Prime Minister-designate regarding achieving the justice that the Lebanese seek, especially with regard to building the state and not breaking the law, the most important of which is controlling weapons so that they are in the hands of the Lebanese state and its official agencies only.

He expressed his optimism in assigning Judge Nawaf Salam to form the government, as the scholars, like all free people in Lebanon, looked forward to ending the dominance of the militia mentality over state institutions, appreciating the step of electing him because he is a well-known legal figure in Lebanon as well as in international forums, and this requires investing his legal experience to fight corruption and achieve justice. Which the entire country is waiting for, and the necessity of addressing the issue of those detained without trial in prisons. The time has come to lift the injustice against them and end party, regional and sectarian favoritism. Unjust

The attendees thanked God for the Zionist enemy’s submission to stop the aggression within the conditions that bring honor to our people in Gaza, and it is an advanced step on the path to liberating Palestine, with God’s help, for which the great men and women of Palestine paid great prices.
The attendees called on the state to hold accountable those who caused the destruction of Lebanon and mortgaged it to the outside world, because the homeland we seek cannot be mortgaged to interlocutors or foreign guardianship, because that contradicts the logic of the state and the dignity of its people. May God protect Lebanon from the plots of plotters.
