President Aoun’s speech issued a road map that commits everyone to diligent work

The Armenian Catholic Patriarch of the House of Cilicia, Catholicos Raphael Bedros XXI Minassian, received today the Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rai, at the Patriarchate headquarters in Achrafieh, accompanied by the Patriarchal Vicar General, Bishop Hanna Alwan, in the presence of the Associate Bishop of the Patriarchal Diocese of Beirut, Bishop Krikor Padishah, Father Rafi Ohannessian. , Father Dikran Pilibosyan, Father Sahak Kashishian, Father Aram Abrahamian, and Public Relations Officer at the Patriarchate, Charbel Bastouri.

During the meeting, the shepherd congratulated Minassian on Christmas and the new year, wishing him glorious holidays filled with goodness and blessings, and a new year that brings peace, security, tranquility and stability to the world, praying for his health so that he can continue his care for his sister church with wisdom and good management.

In turn, Minassian congratulated the pastor on the holidays, asking God to grant him good health and support him to continue his care for the church.

Al-Rahi and Minassian also stressed the importance of the speech of the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, in his oath of office, drawing up a road map that commits everyone to working diligently to achieve the promises he made, especially in the areas of promoting justice, economic development, and preserving citizens’ rights.

Al-Rahi and Minasian then discussed the general situation in the Middle East and the Christian presence there.
