What matters to us is facilitating the task of the President of the Republic and forming the government

Phalange Party leader MP Sami Gemayel said: “We hope that the next government will be a government of competencies.”

Gemayel added, after the Phalange Bloc’s meeting with Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam in the House of Representatives, that what concerns us is facilitating the task of the President of the Republic and facilitating the formation of the government.

He continued: We leave the form of the government to President Aoun and President-designate Nawaf Salam.

Gemayel explained that when we talk about partnership, we must talk about equality.
