Representative Tony Franjieh said: For the first time, we are facing a wave of optimism in the country, and we must take advantage of this opportunity and we will do everything we can to make the covenant and the government a success.

Franjieh added, on behalf of the Independent National Bloc, after the end of the meeting with President-designate Nawaf Salam: We wished for Nawaf Salam to form a government of competencies that would meet the aspirations of this stage, and we stand by this covenant and the government.
