Discussions about the Gaza truce are accelerating!

Negotiators who met on Wednesday are working to reach a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, with talks entering their final stages according to Qatar’s statements.

An Israeli official said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is still holding consultations with Defense Minister Yisrael Katz and the negotiating delegation regarding the Gaza deal, noting that the delay in Hamas’ response is not due to the non-delivery of withdrawal maps.

On the other hand, Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath TV sources reported that the Hamas movement is still reviewing some of the provisions of the proposal, and has requested a period of hours to respond.

According to a Hamas official who spoke to Reuters, the movement has not yet submitted its response because Israel has not provided the withdrawal maps as agreed upon.

Despite this, both sides began preparations for the agreement, as Hamas began dividing the prisoners into groups in preparation for implementing the armistice agreement.

According to the sources, coordination was made with mediators and the Red Cross regarding the receipt of prisoners. The prisoners holding American citizenship were also transferred to safe places.

On the other hand, Netanyahu met with the families of the detainees and said that he was ready to enter into a long-term ceasefire agreement with the aim of restoring all the detainees, noting that any violation of the truce would be met with a strong and harsh response.
