Macron welcomes the appointment of Nawaf Salam

French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed Judge Salam’s appointment, and wrote on the X platform: “I congratulated Nawaf Salam on his appointment as Prime Minister, and wished him all the best in forming a government that serves all Lebanese. “After the election of President Joseph Aoun, there is hope for change for Lebanon.”
