Star Maryam Elkhosht spoke about the things and characteristics that changed in her personality months after her marriage, during her interview with the “ET Arabic” program.
She said that she was accustomed to many of the things she did in her life on her own, and the things she loved and was comfortable with, but after marriage, everything was different. There are many things and behaviors that she discovers for the first time through marriage.
She indicated that she learned how to control her nerves, know the appropriate way to express objection to actions and things that anger her without attacking the other person, and communicate this matter in an appropriate way.
As for her wedding and their engagement, she revealed new secrets, including that her father asked her about whether or not there was a person in her life, to which she replied: “Certainly.” Then he surprised her by asking her to talk to this person and get to know him at home, and indeed her husband immediately agreed and visited her father. The purpose of that visit was to get acquainted only, but she was surprised by her father’s harmony with her fiancé, and by reciting Al-Fatihah at the end of the visit. This is something that she did not expect or plan for, and she was also surprised by it.
Regarding the story of her love with her husband, Maryam Al-Khasht revealed that there was a friendship that had brought them together for years, and their thoughts were similar, as she saw that her relationship with her husband developed naturally from a relationship of friendship to love, especially since he was her close friend for many years, so she began to feel that marriage was the natural relationship. They had the right place to be, so she didn’t feel surprised by that.
