The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister visits Beirut, representing the Gulf states
The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas revealed that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Al-Yahya, will make an official visit to Beirut soon, representing the ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. During the visit, Al-Yahya will meet with prominent Lebanese leaders.
A diplomatic source told Al-Qabas that this visit reflects the commitment of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to supporting security and stability in Lebanon and the region.
The discussion will focus on supporting Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and implementing comprehensive political and economic reforms to overcome the current crises. The discussions will also include enhancing the role of the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Internal Security Forces, and restoring permanent security and stability, while ensuring respect for Lebanon’s sovereignty and full control over its territory.
