The Israeli army announced that 4 soldiers from the Nahal Brigade were killed and an officer and a soldier were seriously injured during battles in the northern Gaza Strip, while Yedioth Ahronoth announced that the 4 soldiers were killed as a result of the detonation of a high explosive device in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Hebrew “Hadshot Bazman” website confirmed that 4 soldiers were killed, 2 were seriously injured, and 6 others were injured, including a lieutenant colonel, as a result of a military vehicle targeting a deputy battalion commander in the army.

Hebrew sources reported that a “very difficult” event occurred on Saturday in the Gaza Strip and was almost unprecedented in terms of the number of deaths and injuries.

The Israeli Channel 12 indicated that the Beit Hanoun attack was a double ambush, which included the explosion of a mine and a shooting attack on the Israeli force.
