Hasbani: The oath speech meets what the Lebanese aspire to
))>
He explained in an interview via Arabic that the swearing-in speech has a high ceiling and is very ambitious and meets what the majority of the Lebanese aspire to and what the Lebanese Forces have demanded and continue to support.
He continued: This speech covers the six years of President Joseph Aoun’s reign, and it is important that there be cooperation between him and the Prime Minister and integration between them and the ministers to achieve it. The spirit of the oath speech will also be embodied in the statements of the government or governments of the era, as there will be at least two governments because we are facing parliamentary elections in the year 2026 that will require the formation of a new government after that.
In response to a question, he replied: We do not rule out witnessing attempts to circumvent the content of the speech by some in Lebanon, but in light of the changes in the region and international, Arab and Gulf support, there is momentum to push towards implementing its content and removing obstacles, and we will witness a follow-up by them so that Lebanon returns to the Arab fold with positive neutrality. . So we will be supportive of this approach.
As for the name of the prime minister, which the forces will name, he explained that they are discussing the matter with the opposition forces very seriously to agree on the name of a personality capable of carrying out reform and implementing the aspirations of Lebanese society at this stage and working to get out of the crisis and harmonize with the President of the Republic so that there is work to ensure security stability. On the one hand, recovery and putting Lebanon on the path to growth and economic, financial and social stability, on the other hand, to integrate procedural authority.
He added: There may be new faces with new ideas presented and adapted at this stage. We will emerge as an opposition, and we hope that the rest of the Lebanese will meet us. (National Agency)
